This is a TECAR provides therapeutic benefit through three main physiologic processes: pain reduction; healing / vascularization; and hyperthermia / collagen synthesis. In this webinar we will provide expert insight into what TECAR is how it can be applied in the full spectrum of sports injury and rehabilitation from acute to chronic pathology. It provides a basic overview of the science behind the modality, and discusses the basics of use in a clinical setting. Additionally, it offers a variety of exercises and techniques that will specifically support recovery. Participants will learn how to use TECAR therapy devices to support and enhance the recovery process. The Intro to TECAR Course is a 1 hour Live Virtual Webinar. It will be recorded for asynchronous learning options as well. This course is given virtually as a lecture with discussion. The content will be provided over 1 hour. Most topics will include some virtual demonstrations and practical discussion. After the completion of the webinar content, participants will engage in a brief post-webinar exam to determine their integration of the material. They will be provided with additional take home materials and protocols for review and reference.
