LCDA 11/18/2025: Clinical Oral Pathology - Red Mucosal Lesions

Course overview

This oral pathology lecture will cover common mucosal lesions organized based on the color of the Red. The lecture is intended for general dentists and hygienists to enhance the clinical recognition of these colored mucosal lesions. The lecture presents several clinical examples of common-colored mucosal lesions of the oral cavity with a variety of entities ranging from benign to malignant. The goal of this lecture is the review of the clinical presentation and for the participants to become more comfortable recognizing these oral lesions. Each case will have a multitude of clinical intra-oral photographs. Each case will conclude with how to manage their patients with these various pathologic mucosal lesions.
