This series of courses with ABMP Director of Education Anne Williams supports new teachers as they build a strong foundation in education principles and develop the next generation of massage professionals. This webinar focuses on Learning Objectives through Bloom’s Taxonomy. In massage and bodywork training programs, the thoughtful demonstration of techniques is critical for students learning core skills that prepare them for practice in the real world. In this course, we discuss methods for structuring demonstrations that allow students to absorb, imitate, and practice hands-on skills effectively. We also discuss the importance and development of role-playing activities for topics like boundaries, ethics, and professional communication.
