This presentation investigates the implications of professional standards mandated by credentialing bodies in the State of Florida and pertaining to the practice of marital, couple, and family counseling. In attending this program, participants will: Understand recent changes in Florida's licensure laws and rules for 491 licensees. Become familiar with recent trends, legislation, and practice guidelines affecting telehealth due to the global pandemic. Identify strategies to engage in best practices according to Florida law and professional ethics. Reduce the risk of unethical or illegal practice.
