Course overview

This course gives therapists a solid, practical understanding of Manual Lymphatic Drainage; how it works, why it matters, and how to use it effectively. You'll learn the anatomy and function of the lymphatic system, how to recognize indications and contraindications, and how to confidently perform full-body lymphatic drainage massage. This includes the body, head, neck, and face while utilizing stationary circles, pumping strokes, and scooping techniques. We will cover the following issues associated with a compromised lymphatic system: lymphedema, inflammation, fibromyalgia, sluggish immune system, chronic sinus congestion, rheumatoid arthritis, digestive issues, fatigue, headaches, and soft tissue injury.
