HIV, AIDS, and the ECP

Course overview

As required by the Florida Department of Health and the Florida Board of Opticianry, when renewing their license for the first time, all Florida opticians must complete a one-hour course that covers HIV and AIDS. This course will meet that requirement by providing information concerning HIV and AIDS regarding their history, misconceptions, transmission, prevention, and specific ocular and optical considerations. Other opticians may use this course to earn one hour of elective credit.
