Course overview
Participants will be able to define, compare, and contrast decision-making and problem-solving. Participants will be able to examine how aging and capacity affect decision-making, promoting autonomy. Participants will be able to define how family and their expectations influence and support the decision-making process of older adults. Participants will be able to identify ways decision-making styles to encourage older adults to make informed decisions.
