Course overview

The 2026 Next Level Sports Medicine Conference will feature a multi-disciplinary approach to caring for the athlete and feature expert speakers that will highlight cutting edge techniques specific to "whole athlete care". Topics will utilize an evidence-based approach focused on injury mitigation, performance, rehabilitation, return to play readiness, and programmatic administration of "whole athlete care". Together, AdventHealth and Rothman Orthopaedic Institute will showcase how a multi-disciplinary collaboration is the best approach to serve the needs of the sports community. Course highlights include: 1. Current trends in surgical and non-surgical techniques of the knee, with emphasis on rehabilitation and return to play. 2. Utilizing neuro cognition for different phases of rehabilitation 3. Using mental skills to help determine readiness for return to sport 4. Incorporating sports performance and data collection to support return to sport decision making. 5. Preventing injury and burnout from early sports specialization Target Audience: This course is designed for physical therapists, physical therapy assistants, athletic trainers, and other health care professionals who evaluate and treat athletes or other active individuals
