Course overview

24-hour urine collection is the collection and storage of all urine produced by a patient over a 24-hour period for the purpose of laboratory analysis. This continuing education module is designed to give the reader/learner an increased understanding of urine specimen collection, including indications for and how to obtain a 24-hour urine collection. Readers may explore any or all of the topics. One contact hour of continuing education credit is available for those who successfully complete the post-test and evaluation form.
