$99999.00
Course overview
Asthma is commonly thought of as a childhood disease, but the prevalence of asthma among older adults (i.e., individuals > 65 years of age) may be higher than previously believed and older adults are more likely to die of asthma than are younger individuals. This continuing education module is designed to give the reader/learner an increased understanding of relevant research on the management of asthma in older adults, including evidence-based information on risk, symptoms, and treatment, and to aid in caring for the patient with this diagnosis. Readers may explore any or all of the topics. One contact hour of continuing education credit is available for those who successfully complete the post-test and evaluation form.
