Course overview

Atazanavir (ATV) is a protease inhibitor (PI) that is U.S. FDA-approved to treat HIV-1 infections in patients ≥ 6 years, in combination with other antiretrovirals as part of highly-active antiretroviral therapy (HAART). This continuing education module is designed to give the reader/learner an increased understanding of atazanavir. Readers may explore any or all of the topics. One contact hour of continuing education credit is available for those who successfully complete the post-test and evaluation form.
