AZACITIDINE (VIDAZA)

Course overview

AzaCITIDine is U.S. FDA-approved to treat myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS) subtypes refractory anemia (RA); RA with ringed sideroblasts (RARS) either requiring transfusion or with neutropenia or thrombocytopenia; RA with excess blasts (RAEB), RAEB in transformation (RAEB-T), and chronic myelomonocytic leukemia (CMMoL). This continuing education module is designed to give the reader/learner an increased understanding of azacitidine. Readers may explore any or all of the topics. One contact hour of continuing education credit is available for those who successfully complete the post-test and evaluation form.
