Course overview

Bacillus of Calmette/Guérin (bCG) vaccine is U.S. FDA-approved to treat and prevent bladder carcinoma in situ, to prevent primary or recurrent stage Ta/T1 papillary tumors of the bladder after transurethral resection (TUR), and to prevent tuberculosis (TB) in patients at high risk of exposure to Mycobacterium tuberculosis. This continuing education module is designed to give the reader/learner an increased understanding of bCG. Readers may explore any or all of the topics. One contact hour of continuing education credit is available for those who successfully complete the post-test and evaluation form.
