Course overview

While there are many different causes of shoulder injuries - from playing racquet sports to shoveling snow to lifting a heavy suitcase - the majority of injuries affect just four different structures. Unfortunately, all too often the standard assessment techniques are inconclusive, and people live with the pain for weeks, months, or even years before receiving appropriate treatment. In this five-part course series, Dr. Benjamin discusses the four most common injuries to the shoulder. You'll learn the relevant anatomy, assessment tests, clinical applications, effective treatment techniques to reduce or eliminate acute and chronic shoulder pain, and strategies to prevent these injuries from happening again. Most courses also feature supplementary instructional videos to show you these techniques in action.
