Course overview

The cardio-renal anemia syndrome is a combination of anemia, heart failure (HF), and chronic kidney disease (CKD). These three conditions interact to cause or exacerbate each other in what is considered a vicious cycle. This continuing education module is designed to give the reader/learner an increased understanding of the cardio-renal anemia syndrome. Readers may explore any or all of the topics. One contact hour of continuing education credit is available for those who successfully complete the post-test and evaluation form.
