This two-hour continuing education session equips school psychologists with the knowledge and skills to engage in effective advocacy and public policy work aligned with the NASP Practice Model. Participants will explore the profession's role in shaping educational and mental health policy, analyze pressing policy issues, and apply ethical and legal standards to advocacy practice. Through this training, participants will practice advocacy-related communication strategies and design action plans to promote and ensure access to effective and supportive school environments.
