BLADDER RETRAINING

Course overview

Urinary incontinence affects at least 18 million Americans. Bladder retraining is a behavioral therapy designed to decrease or eliminate incontinent episodes in patients with urinary incontinence, specifically those with urge incontinence. This continuing education module is designed to give the reader/learner an increased understanding of nursing responsibilities involved in bladder retraining. Readers may explore any or all of the topics. One contact hour of continuing education credit is available for those who successfully complete the post-test and evaluation form.
