Course overview
Patients with cancer-related fatigue (CRF) experience the subjective feeling of being continuously tired, lethargic, and/or lacking energy due to the presence of malignancy; and as a result of undergoing treatment for cancer. Patients with CRF report that it is the most frequent and distressing manifestation of cancer and cancer treatment. This continuing education module is designed to give the reader/learner an increased understanding of relevant research on the general principles of caring for a patient with CRF, including why this is important and information to provide to the patient’s family. Readers may explore any or all of the topics. One contact hour of continuing education credit is available for those who successfully complete the post-test and evaluation form.
