Course overview
Dyspareunia is a sexual disorder associated with recurrent or persistent genital pain during sexual arousal, during and/or immediately after sexual intercourse. The disorder can occur in both males and females, although it is more common in females, and can cause personal and interpersonal distress. This continuing education module is designed to give the reader/learner an increased understanding of dyspareunia in females, its clinical presentation, symptoms, and treatment, and to aid in caring for patients with this diagnosis. Readers may explore any or all of the topics. One contact hour of continuing education credit is available for those who successfully complete the post-test and evaluation form.
