Course overview

Ibuprofen is U.S. FDA-approved to treat fever, headache, migraine, osteoarthritis (OA), pain, primary dysmenorrhea, and rheumatoid arthritis (RA); ibuprofen lysine is FDA-approved as second-line therapy for clinically significant patent ductus arteriosus (PDA) in premature infants ≤ 32 weeks gestational age and 500–1500 g. This continuing education module is designed to give the reader/learner an increased understanding of ibuprofen. Readers may explore any or all of the topics. One contact hour of continuing education credit is available for those who successfully complete the post-test and evaluation form.
