Course overview

Laser eye surgeries are elective procedures performed to correct myopia (i.e., nearsightedness), hyperopia (i.e., farsightedness), and astigmatism (i.e., blurred vision), in order to eliminate or reduce the need for glasses or contact lenses. This continuing education module is designed to give the reader/learner an increased understanding of how to assist with laser eye surgery. Readers may explore any or all of the topics. One contact hour of continuing education credit is available for those who successfully complete the post-test and evaluation form.
