Tracking # 20-410931
$99999.00
Course overview
More than one-fifth of the U.S. population aged 60 and older has been diagnosed with diabetes mellitus (DM). DM complications tend to be more severe in older adults who are at higher risk than younger patients with DM for peripheral and cardiovascular disease (CVD), stroke, neuropathy, and vision loss. This continuing education module is designed to give the reader/learner an increased understanding of treatment of DM in older patients, including its clinical presentation, symptoms, and treatment, and to aid in caring for the patient with this diagnosis. Readers may explore any or all of the topics. One contact hour of continuing education credit is available for those who successfully complete the post-test and evaluation form.
