Course overview

Intimate partner violence (IPV) is defined as actual or threatened abuse directed toward an intimate partner (e.g., spouse). This continuing education module is designed to give the reader/learner an increased understanding of the effects of IPV on children, including symptoms of children who witness IPV and assessment for the effect of IPV on children, and to aid in caring for children who live in households where IPV is witnessed. Readers may explore any or all of the topics. One contact hour of continuing education credit is available for those who successfully complete the post-test and evaluation form.
