$99999.00
Course overview
Early detection of suspicious skin lesions is essential because timely surgical treatment—when cancer cells are localized with no evidence of metastasis—significantly increases the cure rate for melanoma, the most deadly form of skin cancer. This continuing education module is designed to give the reader/learner an increased understanding of relevant research on the early detection of melanoma through screening, including evidence-based information on risk, symptoms, and population-based screening to aid in caring for the patient with this diagnosis. Readers may explore any or all of the topics. One contact hour of continuing education credit is available for those who successfully complete the post-test and evaluation form.
