NECK PAIN: PATIENT-COMPLETED OUTCOME TOOLS

Course overview

Patient-completed outcome tools for neck pain measure pain and functional outcomes in patients with neck pain. Commonly used outcome tools include the Neck Disability Index (NDI), the Neck Pain and Disability (NPAD) Scale, the Neck Bournemouth Questionnaire (NBQ), and the Northwick Park Neck Pain Questionnaire. This continuing education module is designed to give the reader/learner an increased understanding of patient-completed outcome tools for neck pain, including its clinical presentation, symptoms, and treatment, and to aid in caring for the patient with this diagnosis. Readers may explore any or all of the topics. One contact hour of continuing education credit is available for those who successfully complete the post-test and evaluation form.
