Course overview

Teaching intermittent self-catheterization (ISC) in home care is the process of teaching children/parents/caregivers to safely insert and remove a urinary catheter several times a day to empty the bladder. This continuing education module is designed to give the reader/learner information about teaching the child/parent/caregiver who performs ISC. Readers may explore any or all of the topics. One contact hour of continuing education credit is available for those who successfully complete the post-test and evaluation form.
