Course overview

Patient education about pulse measurement in the home care setting is the process of teaching home care patients to accurately measure and monitor their pulse, and to interpret measurements that are outside of individualized normal values. This continuing education module is designed to give the reader/learner an increased understanding of patient and family teaching about pulse measurement at home. Readers may explore any or all of the topics. One contact hour of continuing education credit is available for those who successfully complete the post-test and evaluation form.
