Course overview

The peripheral nervous system is comprised of the cranial nerves, spinal nerves, and the autonomic nervous system. The cranial nerves are twelve nerve pairs that transmit sensory information to the brain and/or motor commands from the brain back to the muscles of the body. This continuing education module is designed to give the reader/learner an increased understanding of cranial nerve assessment. One contact hour of continuing education credit is available for those who successfully complete the post-test and evaluation form.
