Course overview
Patient teaching about night terrors is the process of providing information to the patient and his/her family about how and why night terrors occur in adults; how to deal with night terrors, including keeping everyone safe from potential injury; and strategies for supporting the patient, as well as coping as a family. This continuing education module is designed to give the reader/learner an increased understanding of patient and family education about night terrors in adults. Readers may explore any or all of the topics. One contact hour of continuing education credit is available for those who successfully complete the post-test and evaluation form.
