Course overview

Diabetes mellitus, type 1 (DM1) is a metabolic disorder characterized by glucose dysregulation due to beta cell dysfunction leading to severe insulin deficiency. This continuing education module is designed to give the reader/learner information about teaching adults about DM1. Readers may explore any or all of the topics. One contact hour of continuing education credit is available for those who successfully complete the post-test and evaluation form.
