Course overview

Testicular self-examination (TSE) is the self-assessment of the testicles for changes in mass or shape that could be indicative of disease. This is a simple procedure in which a male palpates his testicles monthly to assess for the presence of testicular masses and/or other changes within the scrotum. This continuing education module is designed to give the reader/learner an increased understanding of teaching patients TSE, including related risk factors, demographic information, and outcome data, and to promote early identification of testicular cancer in men. Readers may explore any or all of the topics. One contact hour of continuing education credit is available for those who successfully complete the post-test and evaluation form.
