MACULAR DEGENERATION, AGE-RELATED: TREATMENT
Tracking # 20-411382
$99999.00
Course overview
Despite aggressive research efforts, there is currently no cure (i.e., complete restoration of vision) for either of the two types of age-related macular degeneration (ARMD): dry (also called atrophic and nonexudative) ARMD and wet (also called neovascular and exudative) ARMD. This continuing education module is designed to give the reader/learner an increased understanding of relevant research on treatment of ARMD, including evidence-based information on risk, clinical presentation, symptoms, and treatment, and to aid in caring for the patient with this diagnosis. Readers may explore any or all of the topics. One contact hour of continuing education credit is available for those who successfully complete the post-test and evaluation form.
