Course overview

Current research indicates that more than 200 diagnoses can affect connective tissue, highlighting the complexity and breadth of hypermobility beyond Ehlers Danlos syndromes. While hypermobile EDS has received increasing recognition, many other conditions can present with hypermobility and may profoundly influence clinical reasoning, safety considerations, and exercise prescription. This course provides an in-depth exploration of the broader diagnostic landscape, offering clinicians the tools to recognize patterns, differentiate between conditions, and anticipate the implications for treatment planning. Through case examples, evidence-based frameworks, and practical guidance, participants will gain the knowledge needed to identify hypermobility across a range of diagnoses and apply this understanding to optimize patient care.
