RABIES VACCINE (IMOVAX, RABAVERT)

Course overview

Rabies vaccine is U.S. FDA-approved to prevent rabies, both pre- and postexposure, in adults and children. It must be used cautiously in immunocompromised patients; there are no contraindications to its postexposure use. This continuing education module is designed to give the reader/learner an increased understanding of rabies vaccine. Readers may explore any or all of the topics. One contact hour of continuing education credit is available for those who successfully complete the post-test and evaluation form.
