ROTAVIRUS VACCINE (ROTARIX, ROTATEQ)

Course overview

Rotavirus vaccine (RVV) is U.S. FDA-approved to prevent rotavirus gastroenteritis in infants. RVV comes in two forms: Human-bovine pentavalent (RVVP; RotaTeq), and human monovalent (RVVM; Rotarix). This continuing education module is designed to give the reader/learner an increased understanding of RVV. Readers may explore any or all of the topics. One contact hour of continuing education credit is available for those who successfully complete the post-test and evaluation form.
