Course overview
A stroke can have a significant impact on functional ability, including that related to activities of daily living (ADLs; e.g., dressing, bathing) and instrumental ADLs (e.g., driving a motor vehicle, grocery shopping). This continuing education module is designed to give the reader/learner an increased understanding of stroke rehabilitation and driving after stroke, including the impact a stroke has on driving, post stroke driving evaluations, and components of driving rehabilitation programs, and to aid in caring for the patient with this diagnosis. Readers may explore any or all of the topics. One contact hour of continuing education credit is available for those who successfully complete the post-test and evaluation form.
