Course overview

Hydrogel dressings are made from absorptive and moisture-retentive viscous gels. These dressings come in three forms: amorphous, hydrogel-impregnated-gauze, and hydrogel sheets. This continuing education module is designed to give the reader/learner an increased understanding of how hydrogel wound dressings can be used to promote wound healing. Readers may explore any or all of the topics. One contact hour of continuing education credit is available for those who successfully complete the post-test and evaluation form.
