Recognize the limitations of genomics-based precision medicine in relapsed and refractory pediatric cancers and understand when functional precision medicine may provide additional clinically relevant information, 2. Describe the basic principles and common methods of functional precision medicine used in pediatric oncology, including how these approaches differ from and complement genomic testing, 3. Explain how functional precision medicine findings may influence clinical decision-making for children with relapsed or refractory cancer, including the role of the multidisciplinary team.
