Course overview

In this hands on class, we will dive deep into the anatomy of the sciatic nerve and explore effective massage techniques designed to relieve the tension and discomfort associated with sciatica. Sciatica, characterized by pain, numbness, or tingling that radiates from the lower back or buttocks down the leg, is often the result of compression or irritation of the sciatic nerve. Understanding the underlying anatomy and how to address it with targeted techniques is key to providing relief for clients suffering from this common condition. By the end of the course, participants will feel confident in their ability to assess and address sciatic pain through both targeted techniques and a deeper understanding of the anatomical and postural factors involved.
