Meditation Movement and Aromatherapy for Mind Body Spirit Wellness

Course overview

In this class we will discuss the importance of self care and several tools that can be used to achieve mind, body, spirit wellness for you and your clients. The class will include a lecture with a slideshow,discussion and hands on practice. Students will participate in guided meditation sessions and discuss the experiences. We will explore how using meditation, movement and aromatherapy paired with intention can bring all aspects of the self into harmony. We will discuss and experience the use of spa add-ons for stress relief and self care, and how the power of intention can make a difference in yourself and your care of clients. We will explore self-massage techniques and students will give and receive a movement meditation massage to increase awareness and strengthen the mind,body,spirit connection. Students will also participate in guided meditations and get hands on experience with essential oils and more. The purpose of this class is to remind you to take the time to take care of yourself so you may be a more effective therapist. To remind you to remind your clients about Self Care. And to discuss as well as experience some fun and easy self care techniques for you and your clients. There will be a 1 hour lunch break and (2) 20 minute breaks. Students will receive a Certificate of Completion.
