Course overview

This course explores the anatomy, physiology, and therapeutic significance of the vagus nerve in bodywork and nervous system regulation. Students will identify the path of the vagus nerve and understand its key functions in maintaining homeostasis, supporting digestion, heart rate, and emotional balance. Through guided practice, participants will learn and demonstrate vagus reset bodywork techniques designed to calm the nervous system, enhance parasympathetic activity, and promote deep relaxation and whole-body integration. By the end of the course, students will have a practical understanding of how to incorporate vagus nerve-focused techniques into their bodywork sessions to support client wellbeing and stress recovery
