Course overview
Students will learn somatic awareness practices (Mentastics) that create deep states of relaxation, releasing patterns of tension and guarding. These practices are used in hands-on table work as well when instructing clients in their own movement practice, to reproduce sensations experienced in tablework sessions. This course will teach the principles of the Trager(R) Approach experientially. Although no prerequisites are required, receiving Trager(R) sessions before enrolling will facilitate learning.
