Course overview

This final module in the BAR Institute hypermobility series translates foundational knowledge into practical, clinic-ready approaches. Participants will learn evidence-supported strategies, patient management frameworks, communication tools, and clinical pearls designed to break the common hypermobility treatment pattern often referred to as the 'Cycle of Doom.' Emphasis will be placed on exercise progression, pacing, load management, and patient empowerment, providing clinicians with actionable techniques to optimize outcomes for patients with complex hypermobility presentations. Prerequisite: Completion of Hypermobility Beyond EDS: Diagnoses and Clinical Implications and Hypermobility and Multisystem Involvement: Medical Complications Across Body Systems is required prior to enrollment in this course.
