Course overview

At the completion of this activity, participants are expected to: 1. Appreciate the importance of reducing racial and ethnic health disparities in clinical research studies, 2. Understand the possible reasons why minorities are underrepresented in clinical research, and 3. Understand that race and ethnicity play an important role in disease risk as well as in responses to environmental exposures and drug therapies.
