RESIDENT RIGHTS

Course overview

The purpose of this course is to provide an understand of each resident's right to privacy, confidentiality, courtesy, respect and honesty. We will review expectations with a nursing home or assisted living facility and hospital. There will be a review of the Nursing Home Reform Act and The Patient's Bill of Rights as set forth by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO).
