Course overview

Mixed Connective Tissue Disease (MCTD) is a rare autoimmune disorder featuring overlapping features of systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), systemic sclerosis, and polymyositis, often accompanied by high-titer anti-U1 RNP antibodies. Patients may present with joint inflammation, Raynaud phenomenon, skin changes, myositis, and organ involvement. Early recognition and accurate diagnosis are essential to prevent irreversible organ damage. This course equips healthcare professionals with the knowledge to identify, diagnose, and manage MCTD effectively, including pharmacologic therapy, monitoring, and long term outcomes
