Course overview

SAPHO syndrome (Synovitis, Acne, Pustulosis, Hyperostosis, Osteitis) is a rare, chronic inflammatory disorder characterized by osteoarticular and dermatologic manifestations. Because of its rarity and variable presentation, SAPHO syndrome is frequently misdiagnosed as infection, autoimmune arthritis, or other inflammatory disorders. This course provides healthcare professionals with a detailed overview of SAPHO syndrome, including clinical features, pathophysiology, diagnostic testing, pharmacologic and supportive management strategies, monitoring, and patient outcomes.
