Course overview

The objective of this course is to orient chiropractors about the State of Florida statutes and laws and rules governing the chiropractic profession. The purpose of this course is to provide the doctor of chiropractic with information about the laws and rules in the State of Florida that govern chiropractic licensure. This course provides chiropractors with information about key areas of the Florida chiropractic practice act discussed include scope of practice, informed consent, discipline, record keeping and documentation, fees and billing, advertising rules and regulations, kickbacks, sexual misconduct, and continuing education requirements for license renewal.
