Course overview
This presentation will discuss the cycle of substance use and addiction throughout generations and its impact on families. Additionally, the presentation will explore how trauma and family dynamics contribute to this cycle and prolong the concern for substance use disorders in our communities. Finally, appropriate interventions will be explored to mitigate these concerns. Participants should expect to have an understanding of these aspects and be able to apply information to their of area of practice.
