This course provides healthcare professionals with a comprehensive understanding of diverticular disease pathophysiology, clinical presentation, diagnostic strategies, pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic treatments, and individualized treatment planning to optimize patient outcomes and prevent complications. - Diverticular disease encompasses a spectrum of conditions ranging from asymptomatic diverticulosis to symptomatic uncomplicated diverticular disease, diverticulitis, and diverticular bleeding. It is a common gastrointestinal disorder, particularly in aging populations, and represents a significant cause of morbidity and healthcare utilization.
